Matrix is very sad to announce that unfortunately, Chief Engineer Martins Smits passed away last weekend.
Martins was kind, decent, responsible, and executive, faithful to his work and the principles of his life, cheerful and always optimistic.
Martins has been with our company since 2007 and has always been loyal to the company. This is a heavy loss for the company, colleagues, friends and family.
His life was cut short by an illness so unexpectedly, Martins believed and hoped to the last, but, unfortunately, he left too soon.
Let's support his family in a difficult moment, Martins really deserves it. Our grief will not subside, but together we can do this for his family so that they feel our support and our respect for Martins.
