Responsible for the technical management of 2 x Large Ro-Pax Ferries.
Management of vessel OPEX & CAPEX budget.
Planning and executing dry-docks & upgrade works.
Day-to-day technical management.
Active role in safety management of vessel and crewing of assigned vessels.
Management of environmental issues and emission monitoring and control.
Qualifications: C/E certified, sea time as C/E highly desirable. Knowledge of Ro-Ro/Ro-Pax or HSC very beneficial. Previous experience as a Technical Supt required. Driving Licence required.
Location: Ideally Ireland within 2 hours drive of Dublin or UK based on hybrid role where min 10 working days per month is spent in Dublin. (Company accommodation in Dublin provided). Existing right to live and work in the UK or Ireland required.
Salary: Competitive T’s & C's. 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Travel, Health, and Death in service insurance. Sick pay for 12 months, then on a case-by-case basis. Statutory pension contributions. Professional development encouraged.
Out-of—of-hours work: Occasional out of hours and weekend work is to be expected. A weekend duty roster is in place for ship managers where an emergency phone is carried.
